Privacy
While shopping at TOYOSAURUS,
you can feel 100% safe. We use Secure Sockets Layer
(SSL) technology to transmit private information securely
through the Internet. This enables customers to submit
their confidential information, such as credit card
numbers, in a secure way. Our website uses 128-bit encryption,
which refers to the length of the "session key"
generated by every encrypted transaction. The longer
the key, the more difficult it is to break the encryption
code - in fact, 128-bit is trillions of times stronger
than a 40-bit session, and is the same technology used
by your banking website.
While
you are shopping in our store, wherever confidential
information is concerned (ie- our 'Account' screen,
or the 'Checkout' screen), you will notice in your web
browser's address bar that the address now starts with
"https:" instead of "http:". As
well, you will notice a small padlock icon along the
bottom right-hand side of your browser window if you
are using Interent Explorer (it may appear elsewhere
in other browsers). If you double-click this icon, then
a window pops up to show you that this session is secured
with SSL 128-bit encryption.
Currency
All products are listed
in Canadian dollars. If you are shopping
from outside of Canada, your credit card company will
convert the price in Canadian dollars to your home currency
at the time the purchase is posted to your credit card
account.
Taxes
No taxes are applicable
on orders to destinations outside of Canada. GST is
applied to all orders in Canada. Orders placed within
Manitoba are subject to PST as well. Any applicable
taxes will be automatically added upon the completion
of your order.

Customs/Duties
Attention International
Customers: Please remember that the shipping and handling
totals presented when you check out do not include duties,
tariffs or related brokerage fees that may be associated
with receiving shipments in your country. All customers
are responsible for these additional charges upon delivery
of the items. Please contact your local post office
or customs office to inquire about these charges.
**PLEASE BE AWARE** that if you refuse to pay duties,
tariffs, or other fees, TOYOSAURUS will NOT offer refunds
on items purchased or their shipping and handling charges.
SHIPPING

We try and ship all orders
within 3 business days (Monday-Friday) of the order
being received.
Toyosaurus uses CanadaPost to ship orders.
You can choose from a variety of shipping methods during
checkout. The price and estimated arrival is also shown
making it easier to choose a shipping method!
Please note: When choosing Small package Air or Surface
mail, no tracking number is available. Tracking numbers
are available when using Expedited or XpressPost delivery.
If a product you ordered is out of stock or back ordered,
we will contact you via email if we have not been able
to ship within 7 days.
PLEASE NOTE: TOYOSAURUS is NOT responsible for orders
that do not arrive at the estimated time given during
the checkout process. Once a package is shipped by us,
it is in the hands of the postal service and therefore
we have no control when it arrives. We will not give
refunds for orders that arrive later than estimated
but will however, give refunds for orders that CanadaPost
deems "lost" by them, in which case we would
receive compensation from them first.
NEW SHIPPING METHOD as of May 10,
2005
As of May 10, 2005, we are using a new CanadaPost shipping
module that will calculate the costs of your order during
your checkout, giving you, the customer, a fairly accurate
cost estimate to ship the items to you. It allows you
to choose a variety of options for shipping the order
to you.
PLEASE NOTE: Occasionally, an order may exceed the
size of shipping box that we have registered with CanadaPost
and so you may receive a message during checkout, saying
that we will need to contact you about the shipping.
This is a rare situation, but if it does happen, you
can either follow through and pay for your order, and
then we will contact you and let you know the exact
shipping cost, in which case you would need to make
a separate payment for the shipping. Your other option
would be to just email us before you checkout and we
will let you know what to do.

For
LOCAL ORDERS ONLY (in Winnipeg, Manitoba,
Canada) we can courier your order on Monday
to Friday to you for only $6.00.
Orders must be received by noon
CST (Monday - Friday) to get order delivered the same
day, otherwise they will be sent the next day (except
the late Friday & Saturday & Sunday orders,
which will go out on Monday).
To use this, just select it as your shipping method
when you are checking out.
If you do not wish to purchase
online, orders may also be faxed
to us or you may leave a voice mail at 204-228-9720
and we will get back to you as soon as we can. We accept
VISA and Mastercard only.
Returns
TOYOSAURUS wants you to
be completely satisfied with your purchase, so generally,
returns are not a problem. You always have thirty days
(parcels must be postmarked by that date) to return
the goods for a refund. Unless we made an error in order
processing or shipping, all shipping charges
(to and from), are NOT refundable.
Any product that comes with, or actually is, a book,
may not be returned for a refund, but can be exchanged
for other goods.
All returned items must return to us in the same condition
you received it in, and in the original packaging and
with any inserts or tags. We are not responsible for
any damage that occurs during a return of a shipment.
For your own protection, we recommend that you send
your return by insured parcel post or courier. All refunds
will be credited to the credit card used in your purchase.
We will make every effort to process your refund quickly.
You will be notified of your refund by e-mail.
