Probably the most well-known of all the dinosaurs, this awesome
meat-eater was most likely feared by most other animals, as
it roamed its territory with a mouthful of sabre-like teeth.
The great weight of the creature's body and head was counter-balanced
by its powerful tail. THis indicated that it probably extended
its tail and head horizontally as it walked with a rolling gait.
A strange feature of this huge animal is its tiny, two-clawed
forearms. These were too short to be used for feeding or fighting. |
